The Committee on Health and Human moved to amend the bill on page 2, line 13, after the words, "forensic pathology" and inserting the words, "or equivalent,";

And,

On page 3, line 9, by striking subsection (b) in its entirety;

And,

On page 4, line 7, after the words, "forensic pathology" and inserting the words, "or equivalent,";

And,

On page 5, line 21, by removing the underscored words, "or she"

And,

On page 5, line 10, after the words, "forensic pathology" and inserting the words, "or equivalent,";

And,

On page 7, line 52, by striking the words, "Chief Medical Officer" and inserting the words, "Chief Medical Examiner";

And,

On page 9, line 1, section 14, by striking the word, "shall" and inserting the word, "may";

And,

On page 9, line 1, section 15, by striking subsection (a) in its entirety and inserting a new subsection (a) to read as follows:

"(a) The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner shall cremate unclaimed human remains and shall bury unidentified human remains from its facilities.";

And,

On page 9, line 8, section 15 by striking, "30 days" and inserting "6 months";

And,

On page 9, line 10, section 15 by striking, "must" and inserting "shall";
